Bob has a heart for service and has been a volunteer with the Boy Scouts for many years; Cub Scout Leader, Boy Scouts of America Scoutmaster, as well as serving on the Eagle Board of Review while living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Bob has been a volunteer with Samaritan’s Purse since 2011 with their U.S. Disaster Relief Division after wildfires destroyed thousands of acres of forest and homes in his home state of Texas in 2011. He’s pretty good with a chain saw.

Bob is an avid outdoorsman who has a love of God’s creation in the outdoors and enjoys backpacking and camping in the mountains, fly fishing for salmon in Alaska, stalking the high grass on the plains of South Africa, and everything in between.

He enjoys studying God’s word and has been a Bible Study Group leader. He looks for the best in every individual and encourages them to strive and achieve things they may believe improbable.
