THE LESMYRLA CADET SCHOLARS PROGRAM
For the majority of children in Haiti, education is so far out of reach, it’s simply a luxury they don’t dream about. We help the children in the village of Paulin receive the schooling, education tools, and hope they so richly deserve.
BREAKING THE CYCLE OF POVERTY ONE STUDENT AT A TIME
Children in India live in crushing poverty – many face the grim realities of human trafficking and slavery on a daily basis. Trellis Arch intends to break that cycle by providing access to education in the most neglected communities.
INCREASING THE ODDS FOR REFUGEE AND ORPHAN CHILDREN
In Nepal, the overall literacy rate is 65%, with lower rates among women and orphans. An early grade reading assessment in 2014 showed that 19% of third-graders could not read a single word of Nepali. Trellis Arch is helping Dev and Dhana Tamata increase the odds for orphan and refugee children.
BUILDING HOPE IN UGANDA
Uganda faces major challenges in providing basic education to children and adolescents. Many children do not complete their schooling and, as a result , lack the competencies needed to do well in life. Trellis Arch is currently supporting two projects in an effort to foster the education, safety, and future of children in Uganda.
HOPE STARTS HERE
Despite the affluence here in the United States, some children don’t have the necessary resources to succeed in school. Annual school supplies can easily exceed $200 per student, making “Back to School” a difficult time for families with limited resources. Since our founding in 2014, Trellis Arch has been involved in numerous projects right here at home.
